Our History and Legacy
Rooted in Change, Building a Better Tomorrow
Lok Bharti Seva Ashram (LBSA), established on October 2, 1989, and officially incorporated on November 1, 1991, is a registered non-governmental organization under Section 21 of the Society Registration Act, 1860, with the Government of Bihar. LBSA was born out of the vision of social workers, freedom fighters, and supporters of the Bhoodan movement, committed to creating an inclusive society where the marginalized and underprivileged can thrive.
Since its inception, LBSA has been working tirelessly to uplift the poor, deprived, neglected, Dalits, oppressed, and marginalized communities by integrating them into the social mainstream. The organization focuses on building a healthy, educated, justice, and egalitarian society through various livelihood programs, community organization initiatives, and capacity-building efforts.
